Forró Bristol is a social group of people that enjoy the music, dance, and culture of Forró, that originates from Brazil and is becoming more and more popular around the world. We hold regular weekly classes to help you improve and progress your forró dancing, with our teacher Denis Veloso, and occasional guest teachers. We run beginners courses for those looking to learn the fundamentals of forró through a series of structured lessons. And we also organise regular forró parties throughout the year.
O Forró Bristol é um grupo social de pessoas que apreciam a música, a dança e a cultura do forró, que tem origem no Brasil e está se tornando cada vez mais popular em todo o mundo. Oferecemos aulas semanais regulares para ajudar você a aprimorar e progredir na dança do forró, com nosso professor Denis Veloso e, ocasionalmente, professores convidados. Oferecemos cursos para iniciantes para quem busca aprender os fundamentos do forró por meio de uma série de aulas estruturadas. Também organizamos festas de forró regularmente ao longo do ano.

Big news for 2026, we have a new format starting in January, where we have two rooms available for our classes on Monday evenings. We have our usual class, an extended social dance, and we are running two courses - see the details above.

London Forró Festival
London Forró Festival
The London Forró festival will be running over the weekend of 19th to 23rd March. This is a popular festival and will have a good attendance from Bristol, Stroud, Birmingham, and Devon groups.
